Prince Albert Adams left Palmetto, Louisiana on March 9, 1945 heading to New Orleans. He was now in the U.S. Army; Serial No. 38 621 989 and part of organization: 246th Oil (not sure it says oil) Depot Company.
He shipped out over seas for the American Philippines on September 17, 1945 and was discharged on October 30, 1946 and returned to Palmetto.
While in the Army he worked as a Military Occupational Specialty: Foreman Labor 356
at a Prisoner of War camp which held Japanese soldiers. He was an
excellent shot with a gun and had this certificate: Military Qualification: Rifle Marksman April 10, 1945.
